Hi. Welcome to my world. Last week I introduced you to one of the characters of my
novel. I introduced one of the evil ones, because despite that fact, I love them. I love
Naja because she allowed me to describe her without keeping any secrets, not even
the darkest ones. She let me see her world, and in doing this, I have been able to
write about her and her kind, even though her story is not a happy one.
Today I want to introduce you to Tria. Tria is one of the good characters of the story,
She is a tree, and even tough she is more than a hundred years old, her behavior
and way of thinking belongs to an eight year old girl. She is made from tree bark, and
her skin is green as an olive tree. She is a dryad that has a very deep connection
with the earth. Tria has never seen light, but soon she will. She forms a very strong
bond with the main character of the story, who will be called for now P, and she
follows her faithfully along P's journey. The soul of this little dryad is pure and brave,
and in some occassions, she will teach the older ones to have faith.
I believe that sometimes we disconnect form nature in a way that results in a
disconnection from ourselves. During my writing and creative process I've had the
blessing of finding Tria. Thanks to her I have been able to see that I am a part of the
earth, not only when I die, but now, today.
Here is a selfie that represents the connection I have with the earth. I am an
extension of it. It is a part of me.
Thanks for reading me.
Until next time,
1. I am left handed. I remember as a kid listening to something like: "You are not going to
heaven." For me as a kid, that was a very disturbing thought. Now that I am over it, I beg you.
Never say that to a child ever.
2. I am a Gemini. Not everyone believes in zodiac, but as a devoted stargazer, I do. It is difficult to
explain how my brain works, but I really believe, there is more than one up there. Recently, I
have embraced that part of me. I hope you do too.
3. I am a mother. Motherhood has changed me, and it is a part of me, when I am Dolores as well
as my other self.
4. I love my demons. I really love them. When I started writing my novel I was clear about how the
evil characters would be. The thing is that the more I wrote about them, the more I cared. And
now I am pleased to present you one of my evil characters:
Naja is one of the evil characters of my novel. She belongs to a group of people that originally were
snakes. She responds to an evil angel that manipulates the truth, and has jeopardized the fate of
the Universe. Although she has a female appearance, she is a hermaphrodite, with the capacity of
changing as needed. Her breath is lethal. Among her kind, Naja is the smartest one. Her skin has a
golden color, and she can also deform her neck in a very disturbing way. She has the ability of
carrying objects, animals, and humans in her belly. If you want to read more about her, stay
connected. I will continue posting bits of the novel and its characters around here.
Thanks for reading.
Until next time,
